I found it at my home and thought it seems to be good for my study of tourist guide.
Newspaper said recently Japanese earthenware is popular among foreigners.
Since I was child, I have been thinking this dish is terrifying design, Noh mask.
Is it curious for foreigner?
I wonder what is this Japanese earthenware?
Which area's earthenware is this?
The size is bigger than 20cm diameter.
There is a stamp of 沓 or 水月 at the back side of this dish.
It shows a pottery's name or place.
最近、お家で陶器のお皿を見つけて、「観光ガイドの勉強にいいかな」と思いました。
新聞記事によると、日本の陶器が外国人に人気があるとのこと。
子どもの頃から、この能面模様のお皿を怖いと思っていました～。
外国の方に興味持って頂けそうでしょうか？
このお皿を何に使うのか、どこの地方の陶器なのか、全く分かりません。
大きさは、直径20cmよりちょっと大きいくらいです。
裏面に「沓」か「水月」の印があります。
窯元の名前か場所だと思います。
